Centennial Tours of Civil Engineering Projects

The National Capital Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers celebrated its centennial (100-th) anniversary in 2016 by hosting tour of some of the most magnificent civil engineering wonders located in the National Capital region served by the Section.

On May 1, 2016, our members, along with their future civil engineers, took a tour by boat to see the underside designs of DC bridges. What better way to see the accomplishments made by civil engineers than by looking up at the structure that supports the transportation needs of the Nation’s Capital?
